About Me
Hi! I'm Hema, a pediatric Speech-Language Therapist. I have been working with children for the past 7 years to:
improve their communication
give them a voice, and
advocate for them
I love children! I love seeing their faces light up when they realise that words have power. I also love working with families to foster a bond between the child, parents and siblings. Communication is what brings us together, it helps us to build relationships, and without it we would all feel isolated and alone. That is why I became a Speech Language Pathologist, and I would like to share this passion with the rest of the world.
I am also a mom to a wonderful baby girl, so I understand the struggles of parenting and keeping track of your child's development. I aim to provide assurance and support for all parents through information on my blog, and by working hand-in-hand to cultivate your child's language development.

She predominantly works with children and loves working in Early Intervention. Her creative, play-based approach to therapy is designed to engage children and motivate them to communicate. She allows the child to take the lead while shaping their development along the way.
