Speech and Language Assessment
Before beginning therapy, it is essential to carry out a speech and language assessment. The assessment may use informal observation procedures coupled with a standardized testing tool to gauge your child's level in comparison with their peers. The assessment is predominantly play-based, and will allow the therapist to bond with your child, as well as observe your own interactions with your child. A detailed report will be provided post-assessment.

Fluency Therapy
When children stutter, it could be a developmental step or a sign of something bigger. If stuttering is left untreated, it could lead to problems with self confidence and withdrawal, which adversely affects quality of life. Speech therapists teach techniques to calm down, to breathe and to get the words out in a softer, smoother way.

Social Skills Therapy
For some children, social rules just don't come naturally. Saying hello, having a conversation, and even maintaining eye contact can all be tricky things to learn. Social skills are essential to developing and maintaining friendships and should not be overlooked. Social skills may be taught one-on-one or in group settings, if possible.

Pediatric Feeding & Swallowing Therapy
Babies and young children require adequate nutrition in order to develop healthily. But what happens when a child is not able to bite, chew or swallow appropriately? We can help! Speech therapists are trained in feeding and swallowing, and we can assist your child to develop the skills they need to feed safely and happily.

Phonological Awareness Therapy
Phonological awareness refers to understanding the sounds in a language, how they work and how they go together. It is the foundation of learning to read, and most kids pick these skills up naturally. Some kids do not develop it naturally, though, and might require specific instruction and practice. Children with dyslexia and slow readers may benefit from phonological awareness training.
